Accused killer nurse makes video appearance WOODSTOCK A nurse accused of killing eight nursing home residents appeared by video in court Friday.
Superior Court Justice Kelly Gorman adjourned Elizabeth Wettlaufer's case until June 1, when she will appear in person at the Hunter Street courthouse in Woodstock. Police believe eight people seven of them at Woodstock Caressant Care, one at Meadow Park nursing home in London died over a seven year period after they been administered drug overdoses, likely insulin. Wettlaufer, who being held at Milton Vanier Centre for Women, surrendered her nursing licence last September before checking into Toronto Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She worked at Caressant Care before she was fired for numerous incidents of drug mismanagement, including insulin. She bounced through several other jobs, working briefly in London and for other nursing agencies before ray ban rb3293 her arrest.
