'A lot of people are rediscovering their story' There was a steady crowd of visitors stopping to talk to ray ban glass Robert and Bev Wood, Sunday, at the Antiques, Collectibles and Nostalgia Show at the Elks Hall in North Bay.
Robert Wood is a bit of an expert on the Dionne Quintuplets, and he had some of his collection stories he written, books, clippings and other bric a brac on display for all to see. been much, much more interest than there was before, Bev Wood said, attributing the resurgence to the recent controversy in the city about the future of the Dionne Quintuplets Museum. almost lost it, she said. Most of the people who stopped to look at the collection, she said, seemed happy that city council decided it was going to keep the museum, the birthplace of the first set of quintuplets to survive. watched them through the glass at Quintland, Colette Labelle said as she stopped to chat with the Woods. was only six years old, and I enjoyed it. I saw them on their three wheelers, but we had to keep moving. We only had one minute to watch them. morning there were a lot of young kids coming in, looking at the pictures. To most, it was hard to believe that ray ban outsiders happened in this area. But when they saw the old Nugget stories, they realized official ray ban it did happen around here. There was military memorabilia, old fashioned glassware and crystal, and the ever present comic books to attract the attention of collectors and budding collectors. Cliff and Pauline Main are among the new vendors. usually on the other side of the table, Cliff Main said. decided it was time to sell some of my collection. been collecting all my life, he said. sold off some of the things in the past, but decided it was time to part with some more of them. like the craftsmanship that has gone into some of these items. might be one of the more unusual ones, he says, pointing at Elvis vs. The Beatles. It isn your usual comic book. It printed on the same paper, but features various fans and critics writing about why they think one or the other is the best.
